Words of wisdom: Management

"Effective leadership is putting first things first. Effective management is discipline, carrying it out."  (Stephen Covey)

"Management is efficiency in climbing the ladder of success; leadership determines whether the ladder is leaning against the right wall." (Stephen Covey)

"I believe the real difference between success and failure in a corporation can be very often traced to the question of how well the organization brings out the great energies and talents of its people." (Thomas J. Watson, Jr)

"The conventional definition of management is getting work done through people, but real management is developing people through work." (Agha Hasan Abedi)

Words of wisdom: Success

The great successful men of the world have used their imagination.  They think ahead and create their mental picture in all its details, filling in here, adding a little there, altering this a bit and that a bit, but steadily building - steadily building.

Success does not consist in never making blunders, but in never making the same one a second time.

If you wish success in life, make perseverance your bosom friend, experience your wise counselor, caution your elder brother, and hope your guardian genius.

The measure of success is not whether you have a tough problem to deal with, but whether it is the same problem you had last year.

The toughest thing about success is that you've got to keep on being a success.

Most successful men have not achieved their distinction by having some new talent or opportunity presented to them. They have developed the opportunity that was at hand.

Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.

For success, attitude is equally as important as ability.

Success is simple. Do what's right, the right way, at the right time.

Success means doing the best we can with what we have. Success is the doing, not the getting; in the trying, not the triumph. Success is a personal standard, reaching for the highest that is in us, becoming all that we can be.

Every success is built on the ability to do better than good enough.

Success is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.

Some people dream of success while others wake up and work hard at it.

Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.

Success will not lower its standard to us. We must raise our standard to success.

The best way to succeed in this world is to act on the advice you give to others.

Before everything else, getting ready is the secret of success.

Success in any endeavor requires single-minded attention to detail and total concentration.

Desire is the key to motivation, but it's determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal - a commitment to excellence - that will enable you to attain the success you seek.

‎"No one ever attains very eminent success by simply doing what is required of him; it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above the required that determines the greatness of ultimate distinction."

"Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability."

"Good, better, best, never let it rest till your good is better and your better is best.

Success will not lower its standard to us. We must raise our standard to success."

One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation.

Coming together is a beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.

Words of wisdom: Excellence

Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better.

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential, the commitment and discipline are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.

Excellence is in the details.  Give attention to details and excellence will come.

Excellence is the unlimited ability to improve the quality of what you have to offer.

Persistence is the twin sister of excellence.  One is a matter of time, the other, a matter of quality.

"Excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well."

‎"No one ever attains very eminent success by simply doing what is required of him; it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above the required that determines the greatness of ultimate distinction."

“It is the excellence of a man’s faith that he gives up meaningless work.” -- Prophet Muhammad s.a.w [Tirmidhi, Ahmad]

Who aims at excellence will be above mediocrity; who aims at mediocrity will be far short of it.

Words of wisdom: Discipline

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.

Self-discipline is the ability to get yourself to take action regardless of your emotional state.

Self-discipline is the ability to make yourself do what you should do, when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not.

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential, the commitment and discipline are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.

Self-disciplined begins with the mastery of your thoughts. If you don't control what you think, you can't control what you do. Simply, self-discipline enables you to think first and act afterward.

In order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort.

There's only one difference between the dreamer and the achiever...self-discipline.

With self-discipline most anything is possible.

Without self-discipline, success is impossible, period.

“The price of excellence is discipline. The cost of mediocrity is disappointment.”

Self-discipline means doing what you SHOULD do rather than what you WANT to do.

"Discipline is the foundation upon which all success is built. Lack of discipline inevitably leads to failure."

Talent without discipline is like an octopus on roller skates. There's plenty of movement, but you never know if it's going to be forward, backwards, or sideways.

There is great power in having discipline and a positive attitude!

“Why is discipline important? Discipline teaches us to operate by principle rather than desire. Saying no to our impulses puts us in control of our appetites rather than vice versa. It deposes our lust and permits truth, virtue, and integrity to rule our minds instead.”

1- Bahasa Melayu,

2- Bahasa Inggeris,

3- Bahasa Arab Tinggi,

4- Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah,

5- Pendidikan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah,

6- Biologi,

7- Kimia,

8- Fizik,

9- Matematik Tambahan,

10- Sejarah,

11- Geografi,

12- Perdagangan,

13- Ekonomi Asas,

14- Matematik Moden,

15- Prinsip Akaun,

16- Sains Asas,

17- Pendidikan Seni,

18- Pendidikan Islam,

19- Tasawwur Islam dan

20- Kesusasteraan Melayu.

The virtues of "SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi" (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him)

SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him).

Whoever says (the above) at morning and evening time, one hundred times, none shall come on the Day of Resurrection with anything better except someone who has said the same or more.
[Sahih Muslim, 4:42071.]

SubhanAllah wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him).

Whoever says (the above) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea.
[Sahih al-Bukhari; 7:168, Sahih Muslim; 4:2071]

SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him)

Abu Dharr reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Shall I tell you the words that Allah loves the most?" I said: "Yes, tell me, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "The words dearest to Allah are: subhanAllah wa bihamdihi.
[Muslim and at-Tirmidhi]
