Amazing advice by the great scholar Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah)

This is one of the most beautiful and amazing advice by the great scholar Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah):
"A friend will not (literally) share your struggles, and a loved one cannot physically take away your pain, and a close one will not stay up the night on your behalf. So look after yourself, protect yourself, nurture yourself and don't give life's events more than what they are really worth. Know for certain that when you break no one will heal you except you, and whenyou are defeated no one will give you victory except your determination. Your ability to stand up again and carry on is your responsibility. Do not look for your self worth in the eyes of people; look for your worth from within your conscious. If your conscious is at peace then you will ascend high and if you truly know yourself then what is said about you won't harm you.
Do not carry the worries of this life because this is for Allah. And do not carry the worries of sustenance because it is from Allah. And do not carry the anxiety for the future because it is in the Hands of Allah.
Carry one thing: How to Please Allah. Because if you please Him, He Pleases you, fulfils you and enriches you.
Do not weep from a life that made your heart weep. Just say, "Oh Allah compensate me with good in this life and the hereafter."
Sadness departs with a Sajdah. Happiness comes with a sincere Du'a. Allah Does Not forget the good you do. nor Does He Forget the good you did to others and the pain you relieved them from. Nor Will He Forget the eye which was about to cry but you made it laugh.

Live your life with this principle: Be good even if you don't receive good, not because for other's sake but because Allah Loves those who do good."

Khabar gembira untuk mereka yang berjalan di dalam gelap menuju ke masjid

Which are the poorest countries in the world?

Out of the 23 poorest countries in the world, 19 are located in Africa, according to an analysis
by the Global Finance Magazine.
Based on data from the IMF, the magazine ranked the world’s countries according to their GDP per capita and determined the poorest and richest ones.
The analysis also used a Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) basis, which takes into account the living cost and inflation rates, in order to compare living standards between the different nations.
Some small territories, such as Liechtenstein, Nauru, Vatican City, Monaco, San Marino and Andorra were not included in the study.
The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) ranks in as the poorest country in the world based on its GDP per capita over the 2009-2013 period.
With DRC citizens earning on average $394.25 a year, the country stands in sharp contrast with Qatar — where people earn an average of $105,091.42 a year.
Following the Democratic Republic of Congo are Zimbabwe, where in 2013 people earned $589.25 on average, Burundi, where they earn $648.58 a year, and Liberia, where people earn $716.04 on average.
Global Finance MagazineMap of the richest and poorest countries in the world – Dark red: highest GDP per capita, Light red: lowest GDP per capita
The first non-African country on the list is Afghanistan, which comes in at the 10th place. It is also the first country where the average annual income passes the $1,000 threshold with $1072.19.
The other non-African countries on the list of the poorest 23 countries in the world are Nepal, Haiti, and Myanmar.

What is the coldest country is the world?

Russia's winters have stopped invading armies. Rather than entering into peace negotiation with Napoleon Bonaparte, who had already conquered most of Europe by 1812, Tsar Alexander decided to let Russia's grim climate handle the French invaders. Summers in the Russian tundra are brief. Snow and rain visit this vast stretch of land at least eight months throughout the year. In 1974, a record temperature of 96 degrees below zero Fahrenheit was recorded in northeast Siberia. Russia is the coldest country in the world.

The story of the human computer

* In 1977 in USA she competed with a computer to see who gives the cube root of 188132517 faster, she won. That same year, at the Southern Methodist University she was asked to give the 23rd root of a 201-digit number; she answered in 50 seconds. Her answer—546,372,891—was confirmed by calculations done at the U.S. Bureau of Standards by the Univac 1101 computer, for which a special program had to be written to perform such a large calculation.
* On June 18, 1980, she demonstrated the multiplication of two 13-digit numbers 7,686,369,774,870 × 2,465,099,745,779 picked at random by the Computer Department of Imperial College, London. She correctly answered 18,947,668,177,995,426,462,773,730 in 28 seconds. This event is mentioned in the 1982 Guinness Book of Records.
* In 1988 she returned to the US to have her abilities studied by Arthur Jensen, a professor of psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. Jensen tested her performance at several tasks, including the calculations of large numbers; Examples of the problems presented to Devi were calculating the cube root of 61,629,875, and the seventh root of 170,859,375. Jensen reported that Devi was able to provide the solution to the aforementioned problems (the answers being 395 and 15 respectively) before Jensen was able to copy them down in his notebook. Jensen published his findings in the academic journal Intelligence in 1990.
She is the human computer, Shakuntala Devi from Bangalore, India who is honoured by Google on her 84th birthday today (she died in April 2013).

Intelligence is a gift from Allah. SubhanAllah.
