Words of wisdom: Discipline

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.

Self-discipline is the ability to get yourself to take action regardless of your emotional state.

Self-discipline is the ability to make yourself do what you should do, when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not.

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential, the commitment and discipline are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.

Self-disciplined begins with the mastery of your thoughts. If you don't control what you think, you can't control what you do. Simply, self-discipline enables you to think first and act afterward.

In order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort.

There's only one difference between the dreamer and the achiever...self-discipline.

With self-discipline most anything is possible.

Without self-discipline, success is impossible, period.

“The price of excellence is discipline. The cost of mediocrity is disappointment.”

Self-discipline means doing what you SHOULD do rather than what you WANT to do.

"Discipline is the foundation upon which all success is built. Lack of discipline inevitably leads to failure."

Talent without discipline is like an octopus on roller skates. There's plenty of movement, but you never know if it's going to be forward, backwards, or sideways.

There is great power in having discipline and a positive attitude!

“Why is discipline important? Discipline teaches us to operate by principle rather than desire. Saying no to our impulses puts us in control of our appetites rather than vice versa. It deposes our lust and permits truth, virtue, and integrity to rule our minds instead.”
